Membership

Want to become a Member or Associate Member of the MMAA?
Please download a copy of the Rules and an Application Form from the links below and email a copy of the completed form to your Branch or Region delegate directly or via info@minemanagers.com.au.

Associate Membership
The 2008 Annual General Meeting agreed to amending the Rules of the MMAA to allow the admission of Associate Members with the following conditions and restrictions applying:

1.   The position will require a Manager's Certificate of Competency for the mining sector or equivalent tertiary or statutory qualifications for related operational appointments,

2.   The Committee will compile a guideline for equivalent tertiary or statutory qualifications (see Clause 1) for each mining sector or mining related workplace.

3.    Annual subscriptions for Associate Members will be set in accordance with Clause 11, Fees and subscriptions, of the Rules of the MMAA.

4.  Representation on the Committee will be restricted such that no more than one representative from each Region and one office bearer, other than President, may be filled by an Associate Member. The position of President may only be held by a Member of MMAA.

5.   On a motion of the Committee, Associate Members may be excluded from voting on any Special Resolution relating to the Rules and Objects of the MMAA. Otherwise, Associate Members have equal voting rights to Members.

6.   Where an Associate Member accepts an equivalent operational position (see Clause 1) the member will be upgraded to become a Member.
